alias Grace in Kuala Lumpur, Days 2 and 3

Ok, so yes, did KL breakfast tv yesterday and drive time radio today, which have been fantastic. We have had excellent exposure! Am also in the paper today and while we were on the radio one listener texted in a message to say that I look very pretty in the photo in the paper! Unlike Laurence, whose photo looks like a prison mugshot.There was a text message about that too, but you will have to ask him yourself about that. It is all very friendly and lovely. Todays radio show was great, with two young guys Will and Tim, who had fun, were interesting and interested, and showed lots of enthusiasm in the play, and our multiple awards. We were on the show for an hour, with bits of talking and explaining and joking about alias Grace scattered amongst news, traffic reports, sponsors messages and music.

As for KL breakfast TV, again we were on the young and hip show. Think lime green kitchen, orange and yellow couches and very funky presenters. They feature rap artists, street dancers, people appearing in the latest reality-tv show. And us. And they were great, Naz and Daphne seemed fascinated and excited by the show and us and the murders and Grace. And our awards. It was all good, all good. Especially my make-up. It was fabulous. I looked like a cross between a Bollywood star, a drag queen and a racoon. But apparently my Very Big Eyes ashed appealingly and seductively at times and were offset marvellously by my Very Big Hair.

We will be driven to the theatre soon, by our lovely driver Seegar, to do a dress rehearsal, and then we open tonight. 8.30pm KL time, 10.30 Melbourne time.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy. It ALWAYS, and probably necessarily, feels like jumping off a cliff. Not quite knowing if the parachute is going to work.
